WHO WE SERVE
ALLTECH serves people.
ALLTECH is available to all members of the public and supports individuals and families, educators, service providers, employers and businesses, health and disability agencies, tech agencies, and more.
Individuals & Families
If you or a loved one need equipment, are looking to donate, or are wanting to learn more about assistive technology (AT), Spurwink ALLTECH can help. Our Reuse & Recycle Program provides short- and long-term solutions through reutilizing donated equipment. Our devices available for demonstration and loan on AT4Maine can assist decision-making before making a purchase.
Healthcare & Disability Agencies
Are you a case manager needing to find equipment? A physical or occupational therapist progressing your client with devices? A speech-therapist considering someone’s potential to utilize alternative augmentative communication (AAC)?
Spurwink ALLTECH can help. Various durable medical equipment (DME) is available in our Reuse & Recycle Program for healthcare professionals to loan short-term or purchase low-cost. Clients can trial available second-hand items and then purchase over the phone if they aren’t able to visit ALLTECH themselves.
AT4Maine assistive technology is also available to healthcare providers for demonstrations and lending. These items include iPads with AAC apps and dedicated AAC devices that a speech-therapist might trial when considering how they could benefit a client.
Schools & Educators
ALLTECH is proud to partner with schools in providing assistive technology to help students with disabilities access their education. We receive pediatric medical equipment as part of our Recycle & Reuse Program, and the devices on AT4Maine are available to families and care teams for trialing with their students. If you are looking for an opportunity for your students to discover assistive technology, we can lend devices to your classroom to explore. We can also provide virtual or face-to-face consultation and presentations on technology topics to school staff by request.
Vocational Rehab
The Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) is a Department of Labor program helping people who have disabilities to find and maintain work. VR helps people who have physical, mental, or emotional disabilities. VR works with you to help make informed choices about jobs and careers. ALLTECH can help by offering reused medical equipment for no-cost loan or low-cost purchase and by offering AT devices for loan and demonstration.
For more information, visit the State of Maine Department of Labor website.
Businesses
Are you a local business with questions about assistive technology for your operations and employees? ALLTECH can help by providing demonstrations and trials of devices through our lending library or consulting to provide more resources related to a specific topic.
Tech Agencies
Do you have a product you’re looking to showcase? Consider donating a device to our state lending library to help spread awareness about the device and enable people to trial it to consider for their needs. Reach out to us or Maine CITE. Or are you looking to see or trial devices for yourself to learn more for your clients? Visit AT4Maine for available items to have demonstrated or loaned to you.
