About ALLTECH
Mission
Spurwink ALLTECH strives to provide assessment, consultation, and training to assist individuals through technology to access learning, employment, and community living.
Through the ALLTECH store in Portland, consumers are able to purchase donated and refurbished assistive technology at a reduced price and/or to borrow a wide assortment of devices and equipment for short-term loans that can be browsed through the AT4Maine website.
History
Founded at the University of Southern Maine campus in the late 1980s, ALLTECH has evolved through several state, regional, and federal initiatives into a nationally recognized center that provides training, consultation, resources, and technical assistance.
ALLTECH has an extensive collection of assistive technology. All of our staff are excited about the possibilities technology presents and are constantly searching for new and innovative technology solutions to support our consumers.
In Spring, 2009 ALLTECH became a part of Spurwink, a non-profit social services agency that provides behavioral and educational support to consumers from preschool to adult across its various program throughout the state.
Since its inception, ALLTECH has partnered with schools, service agencies, local corporations, and state agencies to support those who require technology for learning, living, and working.
ALLTECH is proud to be supported in part by Maine CITE. This ongoing collaboration is essential in continuing to provide the services we are able to offer.
