RECYCLE & REUSE PROGRAM

A place to find or donate gently-used medical equipment:

Spurwink ALLTECH’s Recycle & Reuse program accepts donations of gently-used durable medical equipment and assistive technology to offer either for free to borrow short-term (4 to 6 weeks) or at a much-reduced cost than buying the same equipment new.

We accept donations of durable medical equipment that assist mobility, self-care, environmental access, and more. These items are assessed for viability, restored as needed, and cleaned and sanitized prior to returning to the community.

There are no qualifications required to use this service.

Contact ALLTECH with donation queries via phone or email. Due to limited space, donors may be asked to provide additional information and/or photos prior to acceptance. Walk-in donations are welcomed during store hours, but items may be declined if deemed unfit for reuse.

We do not currently offer pick-up or delivery services for donations or purchases.

Our inventory changes often but typical items can include:

  • Manual wheelchairs
  • Power chairs and scooters
  • Front-wheeled walkers
  • Rollators
  • 3-in-1 commodes
  • Raised toilet seats
  • Shower chairs
  • Canes
  • Crutches

If we do not have what you’re looking for, we can add your contact information to our waiting list to match with donations in the order received.

Call or text 207-232-6421 for inquiries and store hours.

All used items are sold and lent as-is and are not eligible for warranties or refunds.

Power wheelchairs and scooters may require the purchase of new batteries to operate. If batteries are requested, this cost is passed to the client, but the batteries are prepared and installed prior to pick-up.

If you are unable to visit the store or require additional time, an item can be held for a reasonable duration.
